It suits a desk that needs a detailed 27-inch display without moving into the more expensive ranges.
A sharp 4K office monitor for a controlled budget
We chose the MSI PRO MP273U for the Budget range because its strongest evidence points in the same direction: clear 4K detail, good colour and comfortable everyday use. Amazon buyers describe sharp text, clean edges and an image that works well for regular computer tasks. Buyers also mention using it for programming and AutoCAD.
The choice is backed by more than buyer impressions. In its hands-on review, Cleveland Computer Guy measured 300 cd/m² brightness and an average Delta E of 0.8 in sRGB after profiling. The review also praised the matte anti-reflective coating and the 4K UHD definition on 27 inches. A Reddit monitor community discussion likewise describes crisp text for code and office work.
This is the range to choose when detailed documents, code or drawings matter more than competitive gaming features. The Performance option is the Z Z-Edge G274K, while the High-End option is the BenQ MA270U.
The MSI PRO MP273U is our Budget pick for a 27-inch 4K work screen. Amazon buyers consistently praise the clear image, strong colours and value, with specific reports of comfortable programming, web development and technical drawing. Cleveland Computer Guy’s hands-on review measured accurate sRGB colour after profiling and praised the matte surface for bright rooms. That combination makes this the sensible starting point for detailed office work without paying for a higher-end range.
Who it’s for For office workers, programmers, developers and technical-drawing users who want sharp 4K text and useful colour at a restrained budget. It is less suited to competitive gaming or anyone who expects full HDR.

What to know
- Buyers report that some units fail to wake from standby or repeatedly power-cycle, and a few report dead or damaged screens; these are minority reports, but they are the quality and reliability concern to keep in mind.
- The 60 Hz limit and basic built-in speakers make it a poor fit for competitive gaming or demanding audio use.
- Cleveland Computer Guy found the stand limited to tilt adjustment and noted there is no integrated USB hub.
- One buyer found the advertised HDR Ready behaviour was not genuine HDR, while other buyers found brightness adjustment awkward in some setups.
