Electric epilator
Braun SES9-441
Best Electric epilator – Luxury – 180 $ to 280 $
The Braun SES9-441 is our Luxury choice for anyone who wants one wet-and-dry device for epilation, shaving and trimming. Buyers praise its quality, ease of use and the way it can reduce regular shaving. Its included heads make it a flexible option for a fuller hair-removal routine.
A versatile wet-and-dry epilator
The Braun SES9-441 suits shoppers who want more than a basic epilator. Its wet-and-dry design lets you use it underwater, while the shaving head and trimmer broaden what it can do. That combination explains its Luxury positioning: it is aimed at a more complete routine rather than a single hair-removal task. Buyers also describe it as easy to use and appreciate the quality of the device.
We recommend the Braun SES9-441 as our Luxury pick for people who want an epilator that can also shave and trim, including in the bath or shower. Buyers report that it is easy to use, works on shorter hairs and can dramatically reduce the need to shave. Several describe the product as excellent, perfect or very satisfying. The wet use can also make the adjustment to epilation easier, according to one verified buyer who used it underwater during the first few sessions.
Who it’s for For shoppers who want a versatile wet-and-dry Braun with epilation, shaving and trimming in one device, and who are prepared to spend more for that broader setup.
What sets it apart
- Wet-and-dry use can make early epilation sessions easier.
- A shaving head and trimmer add useful options beyond epilation.
- Buyers praise its quality, ease of use and ability to reduce shaving.
- One verified buyer says it pulls shorter hairs and eventually allowed use at longer intervals.
What to know
- The buyer feedback is mixed on capture, smoothness and comfort: some report repeated passes, hair being missed or broken, skin being pulled and some pain. Durability is the clearest concern, with several buyers saying the device or an attachment failed after a few months or before a year. This is a reservation raised by some buyers, not all of them.
What it does best
- Use it wet or dry as part of a more comfortable epilation routine.
- Switch to the shaving head when epilation is not the right approach for an area.
- Use the trimmer when you need to shorten hair rather than remove it at the root.
